Nadika is a very competent guide, but above all is a beautiful person. I met him at Kandy rail station, while I was looking for some information. Immediately he seemed to me a serious person, so in the same evening I wrote him to ask some information about the area. The next day he drove me across beautiful landscape till Nuwara Eliya and it really was a lovely day, we spoke a lot about Sri Lankan people and Sri Lanka history, but also about our feelings and our personality. At the beginning I was quiete uncertain on taking a personal guide, but 5 minutes after the beginning of the tour, I realized I was doing the right choice with him! Nous avons voyagez 4 jours avec Natika pour faire principalement le triangle culturel. Natika est quelqu'un d'exceptionnel ! Il est de bons conseils, il nous a aidé pour trouvé les hôtels car nous n'avions rien réservé à l'avance. Il nous a amené dans des coins très sympa (safari avec les éléphants, temple, balade avec éléphants...) il est à l'écoute et il a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour inoubliable et agréable. Nous recommandons à 100% Nakita !! Sa conuite est sécurisante. Il est très gentil. Nous avons bien rigolé avec lui. Il est toujours de bon de humeur. Ça se voit qu'il aime son travail et connaît très bien son pays, son histoire, la culture ect...
De plus je suis enceinte de 5 mois et Natika à été au petit soin. Il faisait attention sur sa conduite et sur les activités à faire en fonction de moi. C'est vraiment très appréciable. De façon générale les sri lankais que nous avons rencontrés ont été très bienveillant par rapport à ma grossesse

We recently travelled to Sri Lanka for two weeks. We had booked our accommodation independently but knew we would need a driver to take us around our destinations. We met Nadika by chance at Kandy station - at that stage we only needed a taxi to our accommodation 20 minutes away but by the end of that short journey we knew we had found the driver for our holiday. Nadika speaks excellent English and has a wealth of knowledge about Sri Lanka, together with a pride in his country and a desire to make foreigners experience it to the maximum. Even though we had planned our own itinerary, he was always adding in extra suggestions for visits that he thought we would enjoy, including a fabulous day out at a safari park which we had not previously considered. Nadika is a very friendly person who is easy company, and whilst respecting our privacy was happy to make jokes and share our experience, making him a very good travel companion. He also has a good balance between being a careful driver but also a confident one. Care is essential when driving in Sri Lanka, but on the other hand if the driver is overly cautious the journey will take a very long time! Nadika works very hard, and never complained about late finishes and early starts, and the time apart from his wife and young children. He thoroughly deserves to have a successful business, and we would wholeheartedly recommend his services.

Nadika was informative, polite and kind throughout our time in Kandy. Thanks to his high level of local knowledge we were able to see much more of Kandy than expected. We met Nadika at the train station in Kandy and were instantly impressed by his knowledge of the local trees, plants and fruits. He also has a vast knowledge of the culture and history of Sri Lanka. He was open to answering all of our questions and it made our time driving feel quick and interesting. He catered the trip to our interests in nature, food and relaxation and didn’t push us when we opted to skip a few of the typical tourist attractions. Nadika is easy to get along with and has a great sense of humour. We never felt like Nadika was scamming us or lying which we have felt with guides in Asia in the past. He also offered a fair rate. He is a family man, passionate about his job and country. We would highly recommend Nadika to any type of traveler.

When we arrived in Kandy, we were lucky to have been approached by Nadika. What was first merely a ride to Dambulla turned into a fantastic tour of Dambulla-Sigiriya area over 1-2 days. He took us to many locations such as the cave temple, the golden buddha, and the sigiriya rock fortress. What was truly amazing about Nadika is that while driving in the car to each location, he would stop to let us try specific Sri Lankan dishes and fruits, explain the history of various monuments, and share the culture of Sri Lanka.

What stood out to me the most was his attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and level of care and comfort. When we first entered the car in Kandy he overheard us talking about hoppers and how we have been wanting to try them. Well into our drive, he pulled over and asked if he could have a few minutes. A few minutes later he surprised us with complimentary hoppers from a local favorite spot and we were pleasantly overwhelmed by the gesture. Another example is when he went out of his way to do research and spoke with his friends to find a store with leather purses because I have been wanting to find one as a gift for my mother. There were other examples too. On our last day together, he treated us to a fruit stand so we could experience the various types of Sri Lankan fruits and surprised my gf with smell sticks to accompany the incense holder she purchased the day before.

I truly believe that we didn’t just meet a tour guide but we met someone who will be a friend to keep in touch with. Thank you once again Nadika for making our Sri Lanka trip something special.

We have just returned from 3 fantastic weeks in Sri Lanka. A wonderful country and wonderful, warm friendly people.

For part of our trip we wanted to explore the central hill country and we were lucky enough to meet Nadika outside Kandy train station. For the few days that followed, Nadika was our driver, guide, historian, theologian and friend. He is incredibly knowledgeable about Sri Lanka, it’s people, culture, history, religions, environment, industry and politics. He made the whole experience so enjoyable and we gained a much better knowledge about the things and places we visited. We never intended to get a driver or guide but after meeting Nadika I would highly recommend him to anyone travelling to Sri Lanka. He is fantastic value and will make any trip so much more informative and fun.

I planned my trip to Sri Lanka largely by myself - however the one place that I had not made any plans for was Kandy.

I arrived in Kandy station, and by sheer chance, met Nadika there - with him asking me "Hello, do you need some help?". I commented yes, and he pointed me in the right direction. Afterward, we struck up a conversation and I discovered he operated tours independently. He offered to take me to my guesthouse (in his car) and tell me more about his business. By the end of this short trip, I was convinced that I had lucked out and asked Nadika to take me on a day trip the following day to Sigiriya and Dambulla.

Along the way, we discussed plenty, and he demonstrated an extensive knowledge of his country, and a true passion for what he did. He offered me a variety of different activities knowing that I was not necessarily only interested in sight-seeing, and tailored the day to my needs. He does this with every customer, so your trip is unique to you.

I enjoyed the trip so much, that I spent my final day in Kandy with Nadika again - visiting local sites in his tuk tuk. We dined together and shared our life experiences - becoming friends along the way.

Later on in my trip, after I had left Nadika in Kandy, I encountered some issues with accomodation that I had booked independently. Knowing that I had a friend in Nadika, I telephoned him and he was able to help me out by organising amazing accommodation at a very reasonable price.

I can and will happily recommend Nadika to anyone; he is a kind, caring and genuine man who is passionate about showing the world his country. He offers impeccable service and will always ensure that he looks after his guests.

I am lucky to now call him my friend - and certainly wish that I will be able to meet him again - either in South Africa or in Sri Lanka.

In a matter of minutes he was able to suggest an affordable and comfortable trip from Kandy to Tangalle with a car and driver. Our entire trip wasn't precisely detailed from the outset but everything came together perfectly. Our driver, Nadika, was an absolute gem. We simply could not have had a better person to accompany us. He knew exactly where to go, where to stop, what to avoid. He enthusiastically accompanied us on all of our excursions and hikes enroute--including those early morning adventures and those climbs to viewpoints and temples. He was always forthcoming with information and explanations...and was always willing to answer our unending questions. Importantly, our senses of humour were compatible too. Nadika is a very responsible guy and always checked to make certain that we were okay.

And so, thank you thank you thank you Nadika....your are absolutely the best.

It has been almost a year since we had visited Sri Lanka and till today i think about my adventures and especially the fact that they were all safe because we had you as our guide. More than a guide a i literally found my "Iyaa" in you.

My dearest memory of you is when you had come running in the mountain near the temple and the only reason you came was to ensure if we were safe.

Sri Lanka without Nadika would never have been the same to us. Yan (my partner) and I planned to stay for a bit more than two weeks, and since we don’t like tourist guides, we refused to take a guide. Finally we got convinced and because we already got picked up from Nadika to bring us to our hotel, we insisted to book the tour with him. Also we already read good reviews about him, so we waited one extra day until he was off to take us on a three day tour through the cultural triangle. This was the best thing we could do. First of all we think that Nadika is one of the best English speaking people in Sri Lanka we met!!! The three days with him passed so fast because we saw not only the big monuments etc., but also the small details. Nadika has a great knowledge of his culture, the nature and animals. He explained us a lot about plants and stopped to let us try everything we wondered about. Also we asked a lot of questions, and if there was something he wouldn’t know, we could be sure that he was searching for the answer until he had it. It is not only about his knowledge and his language that makes him such a great person. He is a warm hearted, trustworthy, helpful and a funny person who enriches every tour with his presence. Also he has a great network of people everywhere in Sri Lanka and is willing to help at anytime! We appreciate that we gained a friend in Sri Lanka and we wish him the best of luck!!!

Nadeeka drove us around Sri Lanka for 12 days. Nadeeka was a great driver and very knowledgable about the area. He made the effort to take us to some extra places that were stunning and were places that we would not have seen otherwise. I was very impressed by his professionalism. He had to get up very early a couple of mornings but he did not complain about having to do so. I would highly recommend Nadeeka to anybody.

we (my wife and I) had a great time with our driver and guide Nadika for 4 days. He picked us up from the airport and we felt in good hands from the first moment on. He speaks very well English, is a very calm and safe driver (we had other experiences during our stay) and knows everything of his country.

The dinner at a typical Sri Lankan restaurant was an absolute highlight. Different to other guides, he did not push us to buy or book anything that we did not want to.

He is a very nice person and we had a lot of fun. We regretted that we did not book for more days (unfortunately he was already booked out that we could not extend).

From home, we booked Nadikas driving service for the first week of our three weeks holiday trip in Sri Lanka. After mentioning our ideas, he made us a very good tour offer for the “cultural triangle” and also offered for each night a selection of accommodations from which we were able to choose. After the week with him, we asked Nadika spontaneous to drive and accompany us at our last week in Sri Lanka as well. Since he was available for this period, we had another five very nice days in the highlands with him.


Nadika made our stay in Sri Lanka unforgettable! We got along very well with him and he gave us a very good insight into the country’s culture and people. For example, he showed us to eat Rice and Curry with fingers properly or where we could find the most delicious Sri Lankan food. Also swimming with locals under waterfalls at great spots and a cooking course was included. In addition, Nadika is very safely car driver.

My friend and I travelled to Sri Lanka at the end of February 2017 and stayed there for 2 weeks. We booked a 9 day tour and we were lucky enough to get Nadika as our tour guide.

Nadika was very good from the start and throughout the tour. He grasped what our interests were very quickly and he adapted the tour to our needs. He gave us a detailed description of every place we visited. As the ice broke along the way, we felt very close to Nadika, he visited some of the places with us and we were happy to hear all the insides of the life in Sri Lanka straight from a person who is from there. Last but definitely not least, we felt safe with Nadika as a driver. After the nine days of the very pleasant time, the “good-byes” were quite emotional as we formed a nice friendship.

Nadika is a very nice person and it was a pleasure to spend the time with him. I stayed in contact with Nadika after the holidays and I genuinely hope I will meet him one day again.

As we arrived in Sri Lanka, we were very pleased to find our driver Nadika already awaiting us at the airport to take us to our first stop. We spent the first days of our holidays at the southern beach of the country. From the third day onwards, our self-planned tour led us throughout the country. After we got to know each other better, the driver-customer relationship became more like a friendship. Nadika literally anticipated our every wish, gave us information about local customs and conditions and good advice. He also showed us how to optimize our tour to make the best out of it. Sadly, we had to continue our tour with a different driver due to a bereavement in Nadika's family. The following three days were the most horrible days of our lives. Luckily, Nadika came back to us in the end. With Nadika, we felt at ease and very comfortable in every second and we were glad to have him as our driver. At the end of our vacation, he organized our return journey by train and made sure we were ok and that everything went well. We enjoyed a great time with Nadika and therefore we will always keep Sri Lanka in good memory. Thank you ever so much for that tremendous experience.
